Supporting action - facilitating connection
Will you stop for a moment and connect with these people and wish them well? This will offer more comfort than you can imagine.
Woza Moya is an exceptional community project working in a valley in Northern KwaZuluNatal . It has 22 community care workers currently visiting 600 families. They provide food and simple medicines, emotional support and practical guidance. Woza Moya supports the children, who are nursing their dying parents - and the hundreds of orphans, many of whom are at risk of being sexually abused – and their elderly grannies. www.wozamoya.org.za
With your help, Woza Moya could do more, and we don't just mean financial help.
Donating money to thought on a thread will help hundreds of families and we will send you a simple black cotton bracelet. Identical bracelets are being worn by people living with HIV/Aids. Sending kind thoughts to them offers the possibility of feeling your support and good wishes. It seems like such a little thing – and yet who knows what this might mean?
